Bayern Munich secured their third consecutive victory in the Bundesliga on Sunday when they defeated Mainz 05 4-0 in Round 31.

The Bavarian giants dominated the match from start to finish, with Bayern’s star striker Erling Haaland scoring twice in the first half before substitute Kevin De Bruyne added another goal in the second period.

In addition to Haaland’s goals, Bayern also had two assists from Franck Ribery and Julian Nagelsmann, who made his debut as Bayern’s manager for the game.

Mainz 05, meanwhile, struggled to keep up with Bayern’s pace throughout the match, with only one shot on target coming from Max Mustermann in the final minutes.

The result moves Bayern up to fourth place in the table, while Mainz remain seventh.

Bayern Munich will now look to continue their impressive run in the league and try to win the title this season. The team has already won three titles in the past five years and has been crowned champions twice since 2020.
